Dear all,

I met the segmentation fault when using the megan_bio_emiss for the polar region:
"forrtl: severe (174): SIGSEGV, segmentation fault occurred"

No error is shown in the log file (bioemiss.out) and only some points are above the lat max:
"megan2_bioemiss: count of points > data max lat =            9"

The wrfinput file is attached here:

I have tested another wrfinput file that focuses on the midlatitude and it worked well.
Any idea of how to fix it for the polar region?
Thanks!

Regards,
Xin

Hello Xin

I ran megan_bio_emiss using your wrfinput_d01 and did not encounter any issues. I attach the generated wrfbiochemi_d01.
Please ensure you have the latest version of megan_bio_emiss downloaded.

Thanks for your help, Gabi.

I test it on another HPC node and it works now. Maybe it's related to RAM or AMD. Anyway, glad it works again.

Regards,
Xin
