anthro_emis tool serial_output

Dear all,

Does anthro_emis tool apply a diurnal profile to the anthropogenic emissions if using serial_output = .true. and  output_interval   = 3600 (i.e., hourly output files) ?

If not, is there a tool similar to anthro_emis that considers diurnal variation of the emissions?

For reference, I am using a global monthly dataset (HTAPv2).
