Dear WRF-Hydro users,

I am facing an issue with the sensitivity option in the setup.parm file

While running jobInit.py, if I turn on the option runSens = 1
It gives an error below:
WARNING: Zero length account key passed to program.
ERROR: Unexpected sensitivity parameter table format.

Whereas, if I turn off the option runSens = 0
It creates a workflow without any errors
WARNING: Zero length account key passed to program.
WORKFLOW HAS BEEN SETUP FOR OWNER: aartisoni JOB ID = 1

Can anyone suggest how to solve this issue?

Thank you

Hi Aarti,

I do not think the sensitivity piece of the workflow works anymore. Last time, I tried to use it I could not. Do you really intent to do sensitivity analysis?

Thanks!
Arezoo

Hi Arezoo,

I was following the calibration guide, where the sensitivity analysis step appears as a required part. I am fine with skipping this step. Please let me know if setting runSens = 0 and proceeding directly with calibration would be the correct approach.

Thank you for your guidance.

Hi Aarti,

Sensitivity analysis for narrowing down the parameter list, and check the sensitivity of the model to changes in parameters. If you already know which parameters you want to complete, you could skip this step.

Thanks!
