Dear WRF_Hydro team,

I am using the PyWrfHydroCalib package for the calibration and am receiving the following error message during spinup simulation:

[proxy:0:0@login1] HYD_spawn (../../../../../src/pm/i_hydra/libhydra/spawn/intel/hydra_spawn.c:170): execvp error on file (No such file or directory).

I am using  jobRunType = 4 and mpiCmd = mpirun -np in setup.parm.
Could you please advise on what might be causing this error, and how I can resolve it?

Best Regards,
Fatemeh

Hi Fatemeh,

Is there a specific reason for trying to rung without the scheduler? With the scale of your work, I would have guessed you would use a scheduler.

Unfortunately I have not seen this error, but according to chatGPT it seems it is trying to do a parallelization job in your case probably running the wrf_hydro.exe and is not able to find it. Could which step of the SPINUP you are? Do you see the wrf_hydro.ext and the *TBL files? Did the workflow generate the namelists? Do you also see this script RUN.SPINUP/OUTPUT/run_WH.sh? would you be able to run it manually and see what you get?

Thanks!
Arezoo
