Dear NEOs, VPXs around the globe,
We are extremely happy to announce calls to apply for the Small Working group that will work on renewing IFMSA's Global Health Framework 2023-26.
IFMSA as a student-run organisation has been promoting medical student mobility through the Standing Committee on Professional Exchange (SCOPE) since 1951. One of the main objectives of our Exchange Program is to educate the participating medical students about Global Health and its implications. Every year, approximately 17,000 students have the opportunity to travel to other countries and immerse themselves in the health system and education of their host country. In order to ensure sustainability and a continuous high quality of Global Health Education within our exchanges, IFMSA has created a three-year Global Health Framework. With the Framework, the SCOPE International Teams(ITs) will be able to monitor the steps taken in this direction by checking the respective goals, indicators and achievements.
The Framework was created in 2019 to last until 2022. As its term has come to an end , it's time to assess the Framework and renew it as required with updated goals and indicators for the term 2023-26.
To renew this Framework and come up with a new Advocacy action plan for the next 3 year term , a Small Working group consisting of 5-7 Medical students passionate about Global Health will work together to produce the final Framework that will be submitted to the Executive board, adopted and finally implemented.
