Call for Participation for Trusted CI Reseach Cybersecurity Cohort

Trusted CI is pleased to announce the Call for Participation for the second Trusted CI Research Cybersecurity Cohort engagement.  This six‑month group engagement is designed to help research organizations address emerging research security–related cybersecurity requirements (e.g., NSPM-33). Throughout the engagement, cohort members will work closely with Trusted CI to assess their cybersecurity program using the Trusted CI Framework and evaluate their implementation of basic cybersecurity controls relating to research cybersecurity.  The next cohort will meet from July through December 2026.  Research organizations receiving $50M or more in federal research funding, including higher education institutions, NSF research facilities, and national laboratories, are highly encouraged to participate. To respond to this call, please complete the form at this link by Friday, 1 May 2026:

Trusted CI Welcomes New Advisory Committee Members

In support of our expanded mission, Trusted CI welcomes Damian Clarke, Ph.D. and Manish Parashar, Ph.D. to the Trusted CI Advisory Committee. Dr. Clarke rejoins the Advisory Committee after 2 years serving as special advisor to the program. His experiences in leadership positions at universities and university consortia, particularly in the U.S. Southeast, will be particularly valuable to Trusted CI as it works to further engage with institutions of higher education to determine how best to address the cybersecurity requirements of research security. Dr. Parashar brings a wealth of experience related to national cyberinfrastructure and artificial intelligence. We look forward to his input on our new AI initiatives and helping to define our future strategy to support the community with the secure use of AI technologies.
