7/14 Advik Eagle Scout Project at River Ranch park

[Advik Gonugunta]

Hi Troop 233,

I am conducting the final part of my Eagle Scout project on Sunday, July 14 at the River Ranch Park from 8:00 - 10:00 am. We will be going around the trails of the park and planting signs with concrete to identify native plants.

We will meet at River Ranch County Park: 194 Reveille Wy, Liberty Hill, TX 78642.

Meeting point: trailhead parking west.

Directions: After entering the park, keep going along the main road until you reach the west parking lot on the left.

When you enter, tell the Park Attendant at the check-in area you are coming to work on Advik's Eagle Scout project and you will be allowed in at no cost.

This is a great opportunity for scouts to earn Community service-related volunteer hours for rank advancement and school clubs.

Please bring a hat and sunscreen, water and snacks will be provided. I will need a headcount of scouts that are coming so please respond to this email when you can.

Thank you all for coming and helping me out today with the final part of my eagle project. We had such a great time going around and learning about and identifying the different native plants around river ranch park.

Thank you to Mr. Moss and Mrs. Hickey for guiding me through this process and helping me push through to the end. Thank you to Mr. Rick and Mr. Pratt for supervising and teaching us how to properly and securely install the signs. A final thanks to all of the scouts who came out during both parts of the eagle projects to put in the hard work to get the whole thing done.

This could have not been done without the support of everyone involved so I thank all of you for taking the time out of your day to come and help make the community a better place.
