It has been brought to my attention that the high school has a serial rapist, who allegedly raped/sexually assaulted multiple students.

Why has nothing been said? Why do I discover this on FB. I am a parent of three children at Trillium and I am pissed!

Former Trillium student here. In fact, I just left a few months ago.

I know that kid well. I'm not going to censor my language, because I am SO pissed off about what's been happening. He's not a serial rapist.

He committed statutory rape, at the very most. It's funny, because so many kids at Trillium claim they have mental health issues. I don't doubt that a lot of them do. However, this kid actually has legitimate mental health issues. Guess who's picked on, and shunned? The kids with mental health issues that actually affect their behavior.

If you have any respect for myself, my good friends, or someone falsely accused of being a serial rapist, delete this post immediately. It's not fucking funny. You're fueling the fire. He's only 19. Guess who's going to have to struggle with being accused of being a rapist for the rest of his life?

Dear Trillium Community,

I would like to take a moment to remind everyone that the InfoExchange is NOT a place for public trials of any sort.

As mentioned previously, the Info Exchange is primarily a place for community announcements and volunteer recruitment, and is run by our PTA chapter. Trillium administrators and teachers are not monitoring this list, and we run the danger of repeating and spreading rumors and misunderstandings.

If you have specific concerns, please send those concerns directly to executive director Kieran Connolly and student support specialist Sarah Cramer. And let’s allow them some time to address the immediate issue, and to draft a response to the community’s concerns through appropriate channels.

Warmly,
Stephanie Bliss

I understand not fueling anger or the fire. But any type of rape is worrisome. In fact all of the talk (being one sided mind you)  is worrisome. If the students don't feel safe that isn't ok. We don't blame the victims (being multiple not just one) because of mental health issues.

Rape is rape mental health concerns aside.

That post is a form letter response, which you posted on the other thread as well. I don't respond to form posts.

Until Kieran responds to the incidents that occurred today and at least addresses the allegations of this alleged rape issue, I don't see ANY reason why we should be silenced and not allowed to communicate and question what is happening. I will take everything said here with a grain of salt of course until things are properly addressed, but silence is not appropriate either.

Stephanie's post is a form letter response, which was posted on the other thread as well, maybe it's automated, but I don't appreciate a cut and paste approach to dealing with these concerns.

Agreed, take all with a grain of salt but it is a serious allegation and needs a response in some form. I will also wait.
As the administration has been informed I believe in multiple ways waiting for their response is prudent.
