InfoExchange Update

Hello Trillium Community,

The InfoExchange is created and maintained by our PTSA chapter: Together for Trillium. The purpose of this list serve is to make announcements, recruit volunteers, and facilitate community building activities and involvement. For the better part of this year, if not the past few years, this list has been largely self moderated; meaning, we did not have anyone actively screening posts before they go out to the wider community or helping to mediate conversations or conflicts as they arise. On Wednesday night, after a few gentle reminders about the intentions of this list serve the decision was made to start moderating posts. For the remainder of this school year posts coming out from the InfoExchange will only have the express intentions mentioned above. 

We do not intend to invalidate the conversations that were happening and encourage anyone interested to attend the forum Trillium is hosting next Wednesday, June 1st at 6 P.M. for further discussion. 

Additionally, we've heard from a lot of community members that they would like to place on-line like this to air your concerns and talk to others in the Trillium community. We hope you understand that at this time we do not have the structure in place to allow this to be that venue. Conversely, we've head from just as many voices in our community as they chimed in to say this was not what they intended to be a part of when signing up for the list serve and we would like to respect their needs as well. 

Together for Trillium is planning to continue the conversation about the future of the InfoExchange and how it is best used. If you would to share you opinion please contact any of the following people:

TFT also provides a great forum to get involved, support the school and understand challenges that arise. We have monthly TFT meetings, monthly Coffee Klatches to meet with administrators  to discuss concerns and many other opportunities to help be a part of the solution at Trillium. We would love to hear  suggestions about how we might better meet the needs of the Trillium community.
