Reaching out to the wonderful GEG UK community for any hints and tips you might have for any quick wins and 'Magic Moments' you might have for getting started with Google and Chromebooks 😊

I'm working with a group of teachers who want to improve their use of students devices to increase engagement and collaboration. 

They have a mix of Chromebooks and another well known brand of tablets 🍎 😂 - and I just wondered if anyone had any amazing advice or ideas which would help even the least confident get started and inspire them to try something new.

Hey Christine, 

I made a virtual Chromebook tutorial using thinglink to help walk teachers and students through the 

different features of a Chromebook. The teacher loved the interactive experience. 

I also added all Google Workspace tutorials to a website so teachers could go back and refer and work through the challenges on their own time. 

A big win was designing the workshop like a session deliverable by teachers to their students so the entire workshop was set up with tools and experiences that teachers could then take directly back to the classroom. I uploaded all materials to a Google Classroom so the teacher could reuse and repurpose them.

Hi Carolyn, 

Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and work. Definitely a good tip to make the session relatable to the teachers and ensure they have usable takeaways for their own classrooms.

The links don't seem to be working though, I get an error message 'Problem report - The value (undefined) entered in the field Id must be a valid number).
