Hi all -
Sorry for the late reminder. I'm looking forward to gathering tomorrow in solidarity and to continue our critical movement-building work!
Our agenda is focused on how we lead together as an alliance; we have a few topics to discuss both to identify experience in the room and to think about how we can convene larger conversations:
- Environmental impact measurement -- how are you doing this? What would you like to be tracking?
- Crisis response -- what have you done or considered doing? What kinds of response feel relevant in your community?
- (related) Mutual aid -- how are you connecting your library to larger community resiliency projects and movements? If this is a priority, how might you?
Steering committee, we'll take the last 15-20 minutes of the meeting to set up a time to meet and identify a rough agenda.
Whether or not you can attend tomorrow, consider joining us in a little less than a month for the annual
Repair Economy Summit: Repairing Community (December 9 & 10). The lineup includes a lot of focus on tool libraries, including the launch of the Shareable Co-Lab Toolkit.
