What would it take to be prepared for floods?

The amount of heat already stored in the oceans is believed to be sufficient to raise sea levels by 4-7 metres as the great ice shields in Greenland and Antarctic collapse. Storm surges and peak tides could double the seas penetration.

We need surveys to locate consequences with 1 up to 7 meter Sea-Level-Rise.

And planning for roads, services to seaside communities, how connect around lakes.
Replace infrastructure: roads, bridges, sewage, schools etc
Maintain marinas, boats, fishing

Action required - write to council to determine if such maps exist, first of all.
