We are well into 2024 and Region One is planning a great Convention! Please register and make your room reservations soon, this helps the host plan and prepare for the convention.
Convention Registration Deadline: June 1 or there is a $50 late fee
TCPAAA website/Convention: https://texascpaaa.org/convention.html - you can register online, you will be asked to create a profile first, this will auto load onto the registration form, then you will be required to pay online before the registration form will submit. If you prefer to pay by check the Registration Form is attached.
Law Enforcement: TCOLE credit is available for each class you attend.
Hotel Room Reservations Deadline: May 27
- Convention Dates: Sunday June 23, 2024 – Wednesday June 26, 2024 – Please make your reservation for 6/23/24 – 6/27/24 CHECK-OUT is Thursday AM.
- Room Rate: $99 a night + taxes
- Location: South Shore Harbour Resort & Conference Center - 2500 South Shore Blvd, League City, TX 77573
- Call Reservations: 281-334-1000 or 800 442-5005 and ask for “Group Reservations” give them the Group Name- “TCPAAA” for the special rate.
- Special Rate will also apply to 2 day before and 2 days after the convention if you want to stay longer. Be aware of the dates you select when making reservations online, please.

Please note on every form: “No more than five (5) pages of documentation (letters, photos, etc.) may accompany this form”. This means the cover sheet + 5 additional pages, If you submit more than 5 pages, your nomination is disqualified. Don’t wait, get those nominations in the mail!
*ATTENTION* We will accept submittals via email by the DUE DATE, but you are required to send by US mail postmarked within 5 business days of the due date. If not received your submittal will not be considered.
Delegates Meeting/Alternate Delegate Form - This form is used if the Alumni sworn rep (law enforcement) is unable to attend the Convention Delegates meeting. Alternate Form is attached, please have the form signed by the sworn officer and bring it with you to the convention.
Attention Law Enforcement – Region One invites you to wear your uniform to Opening Ceremonies Monday morning. We would appreciate this opportunity to honor each of you at “The Wall of Honor”. Some of you have participated in this at previous Conventions, for those that have not we have you enter the room together to stand around the walls of the ballroom. There is a short presentation to show our support and then you can be seated. Even if you decide not to bring your uniform please know we still invite you to be on that wall, please. Thank you!
Preliminary schedule will be sent out the end of March.
