Opening Ceremonies/Wall of Honor: Monday Morning Opening Ceremonies – Invitation to Law Enforcement
Attention Law Enforcement – Garland CPAAA invites you to wear your uniform to Opening Ceremonies Monday morning. We would appreciate this opportunity to honor each of you at “The Wall of Honor”. Some of you have participated in this at previous Conventions, for those that have not we have you enter the room together to stand around the walls of the ballroom. There is a short presentation to show our support. Even if you decide not to bring your uniform please know we still invite you to be on that wall, please. We have invited law enforcement in our region to attend this tribute as well After the tribute ends you will be asked to be seated for the remainder of the opening ceremonies.
Book Signing: Presenters/Class Speakers: there will be a book signing after their presentations if you are interested.
The Texas CPAAA would like to inform everyone if you have a Challenge Coin you should bring it with you and stop by the TCPAAA Exhibit Hall Table, we think you will be interested to see why!
Dress Attire – Wednesday evening Awards Banquet, we’re going with a Texas theme, it doesn’t mean you need to dress western but if you want to you can. It’s not a formal event but it is not shorts and t-shirts please. At the end of the awards dinner we have a great DJ with a lot of good music, a dance floor, a little singing (not Karaoke) and a lot of fun! It’s a time to enjoy old and new friends before we end another convention, please stay and have a good time. (see flyer attached)
