2021 TCPAAA Convention - Updates and Info

Greetings to all,

  We hope everyone is getting excited about the 2021 Convention, it’s only 7 weeks away, so please take time to read the information below.

 

• The Final Schedule is attached, please remember nothing is really final until the day of, we know the unexpected can happen.
• Registration Form:  http://texascpaaa.net/convention/  Registration due date June 15, or there is a $50 Late Fee!
• Hotel Room Reservation – Be certain to read the instructions on the registration form. And to receive the special room rate, reservations must be made by July 5, there is no guarantee rooms will be available after that date.
• TCPAAA 2021 Award Nominations –  must be received by the deadline June 28
• Registration Check-in – 1:00pm-5:00pm 
• Exhibit Hall set-up:  Wednesday 1:00pm – 5:00pm. The daily times for the Exhibit Hall - Open/Closed is on the schedule
• Hotel Check-In – 3:00pm
• NEW ATTENDEE’S ORIENTATION 4:00pm-4:30pm
• Lunch Buffet provided Thursday and Friday, lunch on your own Saturday
• Pre-Banquet Reception – 5:30pm and Ballroom doors open for dinner at 6pm     
• Awards Banquet – there will be two awards presentations this year due to the cancellation of the 2020 Convention
• Dress attire is business casual
• Your room reservations may show a fee for parking – that is a standard form. Convention attendees there is no charge for self-parking.  
• TCPAAA Elections – if you would like to run for the Board of Directors please contact  Phil Niewald - Ph...@TexasCPAAA.org  or call (281)744-5544 before June 30, 2021.

 

Reminders:

• Law Enforcement please join us for the Wall of Honor at Opening Ceremonies Thursday morning, even if you don’t bring your uniform we want you there, please.
• Law Enforcement TCOLE Credit is available for all classes you attend (requirement: sign-in/sign-out and complete the evaluation form per class)
• Delegates, if you have an alternate form bring it with you to the Delegate check-in on Wednesday, please.
• Name badges must be worn to enter classrooms
• Meal Tickets will be taken for all meals
