Good News, we have the 2026 convention room rate confirmed, cost is $115.00 a night.
The 2026 Texas CPAAA Convention and Law Enforcement Training will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott Allen. Convention dates: Sunday July 12, 2026 - Wednesday July 15, 2026
If you are staying Wednesday evening after the Awards Banquet be sure to make your room reservation for 7/12/26 -7/15/26, four-night stay. Be aware of the dates you select when making reservations online as we have additional days blocked at the special room rate if you care to come in a day early or stay a day late: Saturday, July 11 - Friday, July 17, 2026

Garland is busy planning the convention with exciting speakers and topics while also thinking about fun things to do after classes. Some of you that attended the 2018 Convention (hosted by Garland) joined us for a fun evening at Top Golf, with food and drink, located just across from the Marriott. We had so much fun in 2018 we are planning to do it again in 2026! We will have 2 hours of reserved time on the upper deck with the Cabana area included and the great news is the cost is the same as it was in 2018, $45 per person. Each person that participates will pay in advance through a QR Code that Garland will set-up soon.
It would help us A LOT if we could get feedback from you guys just to know if you are interested in Top Golf, please.

My apologies for another email so soon but I need to correct information given to you regarding your room reservation dates.
Convention is 4 days Sunday – Wednesday (Awards Banquet). To book your room the dates would be 7/12/26 – 7/16/2026. You are there for 4 nights going home on Thursday. You are not billed for Thursday because you check-out that morning.

Garland CPAAA has arranged a fun evening at Top Golf, with friends, food and drink, located just across from the Marriott on Monday 7pm-9pm (July 13).
We have 2 hours reserved on the upper deck with the Cabana area included. We had so much fun in 2018 we want to do it again. For many of you that joined us in 2018 at Top Golf the cost stayed the same, it’s only $45 per person. Each person that participates will need to pay in advance through a QR Code.
