Hi all,

We have just released the Endless magenta traditional music session:

Interesting comparisons there.

Hi Bob,

I completely agree that it complicates things to sample at the 16th note level.  Yet even pianoroll-rnn-nade  does this. Which model did you train on? There's no canonical "magenta" model.

It will be fun to try other models on the dataset. Are the MIDI files somewhere to grab to be sure everyone is using the same data?

That's a great idea Doug! I have modified the blog post to specify we
are using the basic_rnn model.

We will package the dataset with a README soon and upload to the folk-rnn repo.

Hi Doug and all. The 46000+ midi files we used in training the basic
rnn model for the Endless Magenta Session
(http://www.eecs.qmul.ac.uk/~sturm/research/RNNIrishTrad/magenta/index.html
) is in the data directory of folk-rnn here:
https://github.com/IraKorshunova/folk-rnn.
