You could try finding it's process id (pid) from a utility like top, and then stopping the process with the kill command.

Try this out. It is a general tutorial on killing processes, but it should work just as well to stop the TensorBoard server.

+1 for Sam A's tutorial, using `ps aux | grep tensorboard` and `kill` are the ways I would do it.
It's also possible to change the port you're on via tensorboards --port flag, but killing the old process is much better.
