Are there any plans to provide a GUI for TensorFlow?

It would be easier to use if there were basic features like file handling such as open, closing and parsing files.
Nvidia has released DIGITS based on Caffe. Could this be built around TensorFlow also?

I think the Visual Degugger is a nice idea also. It was a thesis project. I think Google could make an agreement to incorporate it into TensorFlow

http://devblogs.nvidia.com/parallelforall/digits-deep-learning-gpu-training-system/
"DIGITS provides a user-friendly interface for training and classification that can be used to train DNNs with a few clicks. It runs as a web application accessed through a web browser. Figure 1 shows the typical user work flow in DIGITS. The first screen is the main console window, from which you can create databases from images and prepare them for training. Once you have a database, you can configure your network model and begin training."
...
" I like that DIGITS displays all of my previously created datasets in the Main Console, and also in the network window, making it easy to select the one I want to use in each training exercise. It’s also easy to modify my networks, either by downloading a network file from a previous training run and pasting the modified version into the custom network box, or by loading one of my previous networks and customizing it."
...
"DIGITS is great for sharing data and results. I live in LA and work with a team in Texas and the Washington DC area. We run DIGITS on an internal server that everyone can access. This allows us to quickly check and track the iterations on our network configurations and see how changes affect network performance. Anyone with access can also configure their own network in DIGITS and perform CNN training on this host. Their activities display in the main console too."

TensorFlow is primarily a lower-level library designed to be flexible enough to support a wide variety of different models.  It would be perfectly reasonable for others to build GUIs for training specific types of models that use TensorFlow underneath.

Hi Lee,

Not sure if you are still looking for GUI for TensorFlow. But if you are then please check out http://deepcognition.ai/ software that we just released.

Best Regards,
Mandeep

Mandeep,

This is exactly what I had in mind. Data flow graphical programming. The video shows training a model without writing a single line of code. This is the way it should be.

Thanks,
Lee

Hi,
Mandeep http://deepcognition.ai/ is a really nice GUI indeed, thanks.

Regards GUI functionality in general, I really like how RapidMiner Studio is organized.

One feature I am really looking for in a platform is the capability to deploy your model without too much friction and also one with integrated market place (in case you want to sell or buy models)

Andre,

https://algorithmia.com/ is a market for algorithms. Is this what you had in mind for deploying the model? Maybe something more like a site builder?

Mandeep,
This kind of service could be added to http://deepcognition.ai/. Maybe you could offer the Algorithmia models as part of your service or make arrangements to offer different models.

Thanks,
Lee

Hi Mandeep ,

why on earth would anyone pay $1000 per month per single user license for a Tensorflow pipeline GUI ? you must be drinking some kool aid even with Data Flow programming. You don't need a GUI at all if you are AI engineer or Data Scientist . There are several Open Source Packages that will do the job very well

Hi,

I am pleased to let you know that  Deep Cognition has made full featured software absolutely free for everyone now.

It is available for Ubuntu & Windows. You can download it from http://deepcognition.ai/desktop/ . I hope you like it.

Best Regards,
Mandeep
