Hi everyone,

I'm happy to announce that an RFC for establishing SIG Go is available for comment.

The feedback phase will be open for two weeks until 2022-01-21.  Comments are invited to the pull request linked.  You can view the SIG request here, draft SIG Go charter here, and also leave comments inline on sources for these documents.

Summary

This is a proposal to establish a special interest group, SIG Go, to organize community contributions to the TensorFlow Go bindings. Enhanced community collaboration is expected to result in improvements to the usability and long-term maintenance of the bindings.

Prospective Contributors

Prospective contributors to the Go bindings are encouraged to indicate their interest in the project by (a) commenting within the pull request (e.g., "I'm interested in contributing!") or (b) replying to this email.  The identification of prospective contributors is especially important as SIG establishment depends on a suitable level of interest from independent contributors.

Thank you for your review, interest and participation!
