I'm working with a data set similar to example 1 (pg. 19, page 21 of the file) of https://www.math.arizona.edu/~jwatkins/log_Gaussian_Cox_Processes.pdf, and I want to estimate the intensity surface for the data. I'd plan on using tensorflow_probability.python.experimental.inference_gym.targets.LogGaussianCoxProcess, and I'm wondering if there are example using this class and/or estimating intensity surfaces.

Hi,

You could take a look at the Inference Gym tutorial, which has a section about how to do inference on these models: https://github.com/tensorflow/probability/blob/master/spinoffs/inference_gym/notebooks/inference_gym_tutorial.ipynb; Appendix B shows how to use `tfp.mcmc`.
