Getting headstarted with contribution

Hi Everyone!

My name is Arturo and I am a final year student at the university of Bath in Computer systems Engineering. I would like to start making contributions by covering some of the more urgent tasks. Is there some sort of backlog I should follow or should I stick to the proposed RFCs in github?
