HELP!

My Windows temp folder (Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit) is being overrun with files called "jna[some number string].dll" as well as folders called "com.jniwrapper.jniwrap.Build.3.8.4[and a bunch of letters and numbers]".

It does this every 2-3 minutes. Earlier today, I deleted over 6,000 of these files totalling quite a lot of space. After rebooting, it started doing it all over again.

I have no idea what software is using your library so I don't know how to solve or fix this.

PLEASE HELP!

So I've been continuing to dig around and it appears that this *MAY* be related to the online service Crashplan.

After disabling the CrashPlan service, the files stopped being created.

However, this isn't going to help me as now I have no online backup service running.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi Jo Pop,

This issue has been reported by the other clients and now we are working on resolving it. We will provide a hotfix for JNIWrapper as soon as we find a solution.

Please try to determine the software that uses our library and contact their support. This software must use the hotfix for JNIWrapper to resolve the issue.

Sincerely,
Anna

Hi Anna.

Thanks for your response. I have isolated the issue to the software issued by Crashplan.com. I opened a support ticket with them. I will post an update to them, and let them know about your response here.

Please keep me updated.

Thanks again.

Hello Jo Pop.  Did you ever get a response from CrashPlan?  I've submitted a support ticket with them for this same issue as well.

We are glad to announce that we have resolved the described issue in our latest JNIWrapper version. It is recommended to use the latest version 3.10 to resolve the described issue in any software that uses JNIWrapper.

All the end users who have faced such issue in CrashPlan should contact the CrashPlan support team and request the software update.

Sincerely,
Anna
