JNIWrapper question

Hi,

 

I have a couple questions with JNIWrapper.

Does it support 64 bit dlls (our system is with Java 1.8 64 bit on 64bit machine)?

Is there built-in interfaces to Java Swing?

Yes, JNIWrapper does support 64-bit Java. If your application runs under Java 1.8 64-bit, then JNIWrapper will use jniwrap64.dll instead of jniwrap.dll. In addition, please take into account that it is not possible to load 32-bit DLLs if you use 64-bit Java, because a 32-bit DLL cannot be loaded into a 64-bit process. That's not the restriction of the JNIWrapper, but the limitation of the 32/64-bit systems.

Is there built-in interfaces to Java Swing?

Could you please provide a more detailed description of the functionality you are asking about?
The main purpose of JNIWrapper is to work with native DLLs in any Java applications without JNI, and its functionality is not directly related to Swing.

Thanks for your quick response!

We have a Java Swing application and are looking for an API/framework to open up Word document  in a Dialog, so checking if JNIWrapper has interfaces to bridge to the Swing.
