Description |
Job Description: · Advanced knowledge in Linux and System Administration tasks including OS installation, configuration, troubleshooting and management. Linux User Management, Log Analysis, resource utilization and fine tuning. · Expert in Linux Bash and Shell scripting, custom automation solutions using Linux command line tool. · Wide experience on Apache and Tomcat webservers. · Amazon Web Services (AWS) professionals with experience range of 5 - 7 years, experienced into delivery on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon computing web services (Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, VPC, ELB, etc..) within strategic accounts. · Broad responsibilities will include: Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects and developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad knowhow around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform. · The ideal candidate will possess customer facing skills that will allow them to represent service delivery well within a customer environment and drive discussions with senior personnel within the company, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact and give guidance to software developers and architects. · He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
Roles &Responsibilities: · AWS experienced architect will participate in the design, implementation, performance, and cost forecasting of large memory and data processing applications. · Act as subject matter expert on Amazon Web Services platform and Linux Operating System. · Advanced knowledge Linux installation /configuration / troubleshooting, System Administration, Network concept and Infrastructure management. Expert in Linux Shell scripting. · Provide cross training and /or knowledge transfer to colleagues as necessary, particularly on the AWS platform. · Document infrastructure design processes and procedure making sure best practices are always followed. · Experienced on AWS & Cloud security, vulnerability assessments, port scanning. · Explore new services on AWS platform and integrate and implement the same on current environment. · Experienced in configuration management tool like CHEF - automation through CHEF roles, cook books etc. · Understand client requirement and automate the current work functionality.
Qualifications: · 10 + years of experience in Infrastructure and Linux OS Management. · Must have strong AWS architecture experience · 5+ years of relevant experience with designing complex solutions in AWS · Extensive experience interacting with an infrastructure via the AWS CLI, Linux OS Management, Automation. · Design software solutions that have chosen appropriate AWS highly available and reliable architecture · AWS and Linux Certification is preferable.
