Dear all,
With many people returning from well-deserved leave, it now time to
rejoin for that warm and fuzzy feeling of trust.
We look forward to the 65th EUGridPMA+, AARC Policy, and GN52 EnCo
joint meeting,
from Wednesday October 1 starting in the morning
till Friday October 3 closing at around mid-day
in Karlsruhe, kindly hosted by Marcus Hardt and the Scientific Computing
Centre SCC of the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie. It will be in person,
at the KIT South Campus, but remote attendance will be possible, of course.
Thanks a lot to Marcus for arranging this!
You should consider some specific actions now:
- registration:
https://eugridpma.org/meetings/2025-10/
- if you arrive on Tuesday in time for dinner, please indicate that in
the arrival date information. And send a mail to Marcus Hardt <
ha...@kit.edu>
- when due for a self-assessment or on major changes: prepare to present at
the meeting. Agenda slots (mostly on Wednesday) will be reserved for those
Thursday and Friday morning will focus on AARC, EnCo and EOSC topics, including
for example the eID Assurance conclusions, Security Baseline (G084), and
(possibly) a glimpse of the EOSC Federation and new Nodes.
The detailed agenda will follow shortly, and there is still room to propose
additional contributions and collaborative (discussion) sessions.
Accommodation in Karlsruhe should be easy to find, we suggest you pick a place
near the Campus (see web page for location).
If you cannot make the in-person meeting, there will still also be the option
for remove participation via zoom at <
https://eugridpma.org/z/65>
The agenda has plenty of room for some additional topics (and please review your
status on the PMA web pages), and additional topics.
The meeting agenda will also have ample slots for AARC policy and community
work, GN5-2 Enabling Communities and EOSC ISM, and the other activities
supported through AARC and WISE.
Some of you are also due for a self-audit. Do be prepared to attend in
person, based on the membership status information at
https://www.eugridpma.org/members/internal/display
I hope to see very many of you in person again in Karlsruhe!
Kind regards,
DavidG.
