OpenEMPI subtracting 1 day from birthTime insert

Hello,

When I try to add a person, using either PIX or the web interface, the date of birth gets subtracted by 1 day after insertion.

For example, if I try to insert using PIX the following date of birth:

<urn:birthTime value="19350101"/>

The person is added with the Date of Birth 1934-12-31.

Does anybody know why this maybe happening?

Hi,

We have seen this before. It happens when the server is in a different time zone from the browser accessing the application. The date is stored correctly in the database and it only appears wrong on the UI. This is a bug in the GWT library we are using for the UI.
