Exception: Unable to initialize the flexible file loader; the mapping file must exist and be readable.

Hi All,

I receive the below exception when trying to use the flexible file loader. Can anybody give direction about possible causes. 

The mapping file is in {openempi_home}/conf

[2020-07-12 18:17:42,820]ERROR283018[pool-2-thread-4] - org.openhie.openempi.loader.FlexibleFileLoader.init(FlexibleFileLoader.java:131) - Unable to initialize the flexible file loader; the mapping file must exist and be readable.

[2020-07-12 18:17:42,857] WARN283055[pool-2-thread-4] - org.openhie.openempi.jobqueue.impl.FileImportJobTypeHandler.run(FileImportJobTypeHandler.java:58) - Failed while trying to load a file: java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to initialize the flexible file loader; the mapping file must exist and be readable.

Mostafa,

It looks like it can't file the mapping file you specified. The mapping file must be placed in the conf directory on the server. You can read more about it here:

and step #10 says:

The Mapping File Name entry box is used for specifying the mapping file. The system assumes that the mapping file is present in the OpenEMPI configuration directory (conf) in the server’s OpenEMPI home directory so the mapping file name entered should be just the filename and not an explicit path. This is done for security reasons.
