Hi everyone,

If you are interested in MCP and the evolution of enterprise-grade protocols for AI agents, join the next meeting of the AI Readiness Special Interest Group tomorrow, 3 March at 4pm GMT / 11am ET.

In this session, Jan Rock (SVP at Citi) will present Open EMCP (Open Enterprise Multi-Agent Communication & Orchestration Protocol) — a new initiative under FINOS Labs focused on enabling secure, scalable communication and orchestration across AI agents in enterprise environments (GitHub repo)

As organizations move from experimentation to production deployment of agent-based and generative AI systems, interoperability, governance, and operational controls become essential. Open EMCP aims to provide a practical foundation for addressing these challenges in regulated settings, including financial services.

This session will be particularly relevant if you are working on:

• MCP and agent interoperability

• AI governance and control frameworks

• Generative AI deployment in regulated environments

• Operational risk and compliance oversight of AI systems
