We are set to meet next Wednesday, March 11th, 4pm at the New Morning Bakery! If you have anything you would like to add to the agenda, feel free to let me know, or if there is anything else I can do to support your efforts!

Here is a list of upcoming community outdoor education events assembled by the Natural Resource Educators Working Group at their last meeting. I have some of the flyers attached for sharing. 

March 7, 12-4, Avery Park, Townsend Shelter - Wild4Nature - a free "mini" Winter Wildlife Field Day Event with several local organizations sharing outdoor activities with the public. Chintimini WIldlife Center, Corvallis Environmental Center, Parks and Rec, and more! Flyer attached.

March 11, 2026: 4-5pm Starker Lecture Series: What We’ve Learned from Decades of Long-Term Forest Research by Fred Swanson, Research Geologist (retired) US Forest Service and Emeritus Faculty. Peavy Forest Science Center room 117 or zoom (Starker Forests & College of Forestry) 

March 12: 5-7pm Corvallis Sustainability Coalition Sustainability Fair and Town Hall (Flyer Attached)

March 20: 7-8:30pm Moonlight Meander at Peavy Arboretum (OSU Research Forests)

April 18: 1-4:30pm Planet Palooza (Parks and Rec)
