Hi, Education Action Team members,
The Sustainability Coalition has reserved a table at this year’s Planet Palooza (Saturday, April 18 from 1:00 to 4:30 pm at C3). However, in order to make it happen, we need 2-4 volunteers to help come up with an activity and to staff the table for a 2-hour shift (12:30 to 2:30, or 2:30 to 4:30) .
This is a fun, kid- and family-friendly event, so it’s a great opportunity to promote sustainable living.
Please let me know by Wednesday, April 8, if you’re available to help!
Thanks,
Annette

I live within the traditional homeland of the Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya …Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations at either Grand Ronde or Siletz. Today, the Kalapuya live on tribal lands or tribal-ceded lands throughout the region. Many Kalapuya are active members of the sovereign nations of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde or the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. Kalapuya culture is alive. To learn more, please check out the online Champinefu Webinar Series, plan a trip to the Chachalu Museum and Cultural Center, and/or make a gift to our Champinefu Fund.

If I can find enough volunteers, we’ll have an Education Action Team table at Planet Palooza that includes the following:
So far, Margit Foss (and possibly her husband, John Fowler) have volunteered to take a shift. But we’ll need at least two more people (preferably more than that!) to cover the table during the event.
I’ll be responsible for set-up and take-down, but I’m unable to stay for the event.
Anyone else willing to help? If so, please let me know by Monday.
Thanks,
Annette
