how we will be predicting data ?

My doubt is that suppose today is csk vs lsg but yesterday matches were of rcb vs mi and rr vs srh 
so how can we predict the score of csk innings based on last day dataset 

Or is it like we have to predict the score of csk innings based on their last played match statistics?

This is where you will have to use your understanding and skillset related to ML to predict. Please refer to pages related to the last edition of the contest that we ran (in 2021) here. The format will be more or less similar this time too. However, we are addressing some of the concerns and limitations that we faced in the last version while releasing the contest. Well, I didn't see any article/faqs in the contest details of last year regarding non-coder and how they will participate. Hope it's also added this time.

It's mentioned that the data is taken from cricsheet.org. So, can we update our dataset daily from cricsheet.org to get match data of the previous day?

Yes, we will have an FAQ for Non-coders this time.

You cannot update the data from Cricsheet on a daily basis. The training data to be used will be provided. The format is more or less similar to what you see in Cricsheet.
