Parent Forum Handout & Essay Contests

Dear Students,

 

If your parents attended the Parent Forum last night and were interested in having a handout with the information presented, I have attached it for their review.

 

I also wanted to let you know I have updated the M.I.T. Gifted and Talented Education website and it has many resources for weekend activities. If your parents still need volunteer hours, you and your family can attend one of the museums listed and bring me the ticket stub for hours. This is for all students, not just those who participate in the GATE program.

 

Lastly, if you are participating in any of the GATE sponsored essay contests, please make sure you keep an eye on the due dates. If you are doing the "Going Green" essay and you want me to mail it for you, please submit it by Friday, February 23 (next week!). Also, please carefully review the submission requirements to make sure you have included everything required. I am also available for editing advice, but don't wait until the last minute:)
