January 26, 2011- You have only TODAY and TOMORROW to complete your digital portfolios

1.  Create a new page, titled College Knowledge

2.  Under that page create three additional pages:

                                      a.    Community Service

                                      b.    Extra Curricular Activities

                                       c.    Map of Possible Colleges

3.   On your Community Service page:  Complete your WRITE UP FIRST!!! Type and complete the following…   

 

For our 8th grade community service, we took a fieldtrip to the Hunger Fund on January 20, 2010.  Some of the things I did were... .  Helping at the Hunger Fund makes me a Globally Competent student because...

 

4.  Include multiple pictures of you working at the Hunger Fund

                                      a.    Go to photobucket.com to download your picture

                                      b.    Username and Password: hungerfund

5.   Work on College Knowledge title page; answer the questions that I emailed you in paragraph form. 

 

Write a paragraph and include the following things to write about:

1. What are your future plans are for after you finish high school.  Where do you see yourself in 2015? 
2. What would you like to major in when you go to college?
3. What colleges do you plan to apply to and why?  In state or out of state?  Junior college or a 4 year University or maybe a trade school, like Devry, etc...
4. Include anything else you feel expresses your future as college student
