Dear Colleagues,

As part of the series of events around the 25th anniversary of STS-CH as well as the project Digital Interfacing: The Minimalist Manifesto, we are happy to announce the event “In the Making: Art, science, and technology studies” that will take place at ZhDK on June 29, 2026.

The evening will explore the shifting connections between art, science, and technology, and their roles in engaging public responses to technoscientific hype.
Through open discussion and artistic interventions, we will delve into the specificities which STS and ASTS bring to configurations of alternative politics of living and knowing in today's world.

In the Making: Art, Science, and Technology Studies - a (Swiss) diaspora, 25 years on.
When: Monday, June 29. 17:00 onwards
Where: Immersive Arts Space at ZhDK (Förrlibuckstrasse 109, CH-8005 Zürich)

There will be interdisciplinary conversations, artistic interventions, and foam dice!
