We are pleased to share the full program for our upcoming lecture series "Thinking (further) Through Materialities," which will take place at the University of Basel during the Autumn semester. The program is attached to this email.

Participation is open to all interested persons, whether attending in the room or joining online.
If you wish to attend online, you are warmly invited to register for each session you are interested in by writing to the following address:

Please note that each lecture will be advertised individually approximately one week prior to its scheduled date. These announcements will include details on whether the presenter will be physically present in the room or joining via Zoom. You will then have another opportunity to register for the specific lecture by email.

Following up on our previous email with the full program for the lecture series "Thinking (further) Through Materialities," taking place at the University of Basel during the Autumn semester, we are pleased to announce that next week, on Wednesday, October 15 at 4:15 pm CET, we will have the pleasure to welcome Sophie Woodward (University of Manchester, UK), who will give the first lecture titled “Dormant Things: The Vital Materiality of the Unnoticed Everyday."

Sophie Woodward will present her lecture via Zoom. Participants are welcome to attend either in person or online. If you wish to join online, please register by writing to the following address:

We are pleased to announce the third event in the lecture series "Thinking (further) Through Materialities," taking place at the University of Basel during the Autumn semester. On Wednesday, October 29 at 4:15 pm CET, we welcome Maya Hey (University of Helsinki, FI), who will present the third lecture, titled “Microbes, Embodied Knowing, and the Materiality of Fermentation.”
