Dear colleagues,


This email consists in a double invitation for those who use qualitative
methods to investigate issues pertaining to health and illness.
Firstly, we would like to invite you to complete the following survey. It
aims to document experiences of ethical procedures in order to identify the
elements that work well, those that are more challenging, and collect
suggestions for changes. The survey takes about 10 minutes and the deadline
is set on January 31, 2026. Please feel free to circulate it to anyone who
might be interested.

Secondly, we would like to invite you to participate in the workshop “The
Ethics of Health Research Between Biomedicine and Anthropology,” organized
by the Commissions Ethical and Deontological Think Tank and Medical
Anthropology Switzerland. It will take place in Bern on Friday, March 27,
2026. The description of the conference is attached. Participation is free,
