Dear colleagues,


We invite you to an upcoming workshop with Dr. Liliana Doganova at ETH Zürich on February 19, 2026.  RSVP by February 3.


Liliana Doganova, Associate Professor at the Centre de sociologie de l’innovation, Mines Paris, PSL University and author of the recent book Discounting the Future, will give a talk at the Humanities Colloquium at ETH on February 18.


The following day, February 19, Liliana Doganova will lead a workshop on Making and Valuing the Future in collaboration with the Professorship for Ethics, Technology and Society at ETH.

The workshop will use two pieces of recent scholarship as anchors for the discussion (one work in progress by a member of the Professorship group and one paper by Dr. Doganova).


Workshop Details:

Feb. 19, 13:30-15:00

ETH RZ Building (Clausiusstrasse 59). Room tbc.

In-person only.


The workshop might be of particular interest to those working with topics of futures, biotechnology, value, markets, and politics of technology more broadly, and is open to students, scholars, and interested people from any area and discipline.
