The University of Cambridge is pleased to invite application for a new post of Assistant Professor in the Social Studies of Medicine. Application deadline: 17 November 2025. Starting date: 1 September 2026.

This will be a joint post in the Departments of Sociology (65%) and History and Philosophy of Science (35%). The role holder will research the social studies of medicine and teach on the popular interdisciplinary MPhil in Health, Medicine and Society.
