Dear STS-CH colleagues,

If you are in Zurich on June 16, you are warmly invited to join a meeting of ZSTS (the Zurich STS reading collective) to discuss two recent articles in Social Studies of Science about the study of the digital in STS today:

Frances Lee (Chalmers University) and David Ribes (University of Washington), “Computational universalism, or, Attending to relationalities at scale” (2025) https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/03063127251345089

Sarah Davies and Miller Díaz-Valderrama (both University of Vienna), “Attending to ‘Computational Universalisms’: Practices, Frictions, Events” (2026) https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/03063127261445803

The meeting will take place on June 16, 13:30-15:00, at ETH in RZ F 1 (Clausiusstrasse 59).

If you are interested and want to join us, please register by June 12 so that I know to include you on further communications about the event.

Kind regards,
Margo Boenig-Liptsin
