Dear colleagues,

We are now inviting abstract submissions for the BIAS Conference: Mitigating Diversity Biases of AI in the Labour Market, taking place in person at Leiden University (the Netherlands) from Wednesday, 2 September to Thursday, 3 September 2026.

This conference marks the end of the BIAS project – Mitigating diversity bias of AI in the labour market. Across two days, we will bring together research and practice to examine how AI is reshaping the labour market from legal, technological, ethical, and socio-economic perspectives, moving beyond identifying bias to advancing concrete approaches for fairness, accountability, and governance in AI-enabled labour practices.
