Dear all,
Please find attached the Call for Papers for the 2026 Scientific Instrument Commission (SIC) meeting, which will take place in Neuchâtel and La Chaux-de-Fonds from 7–11 September 2026.
This will be the first time that the SIC meets in Switzerland — a unique opportunity for our national community of historians of science, technology, and material culture to present ongoing research, highlight Swiss collections, and engage with an international
network of specialists working on scientific instruments from a wide range of perspectives (history of science, museology, conservation, material culture studies, etc.).
We warmly encourage colleagues based in Switzerland, at all career stages, to submit proposals and to take part in shaping this important event for our field.
All necessary information is provided in the attached CFP.
All the best,
Julien
