Looking into 2022

Dear Colleagues,

We are still in a pandemic, and the plan I communicated in 2020 for a meeting in 2021 could not be realised. My last announcement, from May 2021, was that the next possible TC2 meeting would be during the ECF23 in Madeira. It is likely, however, that the situation might not improve sufficiently by June 2022 for all interested colleagues to attend that conference. We have the opportunity to organise, hopefully much more attended, full meeting of TC2 as part of the next conference on Materials Structures and Micromechanics of Fracture (MSMF10), which will be held in Brno from 5th till 7th of September 2022. We have had a number of very successful TC2 meetings in Brno, the last one in 2019. It is therefore suggested that the next full TC2 meeting is held again in Brno, quite apart from the potential attendance of some of the colleagues at ECF23. Please, note this in your calendars and when the call for abstracts is available I will let you know via this distribution list.
