Cover Pages

New Google Sites now offers a new page header type called Cover. This allows you to make a cover page, a page that shows a full-screen image with the content that loads underneath. Add links to navigation

When you go to add a link to the navigation you can pick a page from the site or start typing to search for what you want to link to and the search results now searches other Google Sites and your Google Drive content as well, so you can link to those easily.

Text Formatting 

You can now choose the Small format for your text in the content area that was only available in the footer previously. We've be able to paste it from the footer for a while but it's nice to see it officially recognised in the editor.
