Is there a place in the documentation where transactions are discussed separate from the HTTP API?

Is there an auto commit option through the HTTP API or does it require create tx, add under tx, commit tx?

Not really.  What questions did you have about transactions in Stardog?

It requires the full begin, do stuff, commit cycle.  The auto-commit in the SNARL API is just syntactic sugar for doing all that in one go.
