Hi all,

I was wondering if, since Stardog rewrites Sparql queries depending on the ontologies describing the rdf store content, it could be possible to use the generated queries against another rdf store using the same schema.
It could be very interesting to have this possibility with rdf stores generated from relational databases for example, without having to export the all data from the database to Stardog.

Cheers

Laurent,

Yes, Stardog already supports this to some degree. We've engineered it to be able to work in this configuration against other systems that can evaluate SPARQL queries. A similar thing can be done with Stardog's ICV support, as well.

Feel free to ask more specific technical questions if this is something you want to experiment with or use in anger.

Cheers,
Kendall
