clear Stardog query cache

Hello,

I am looking for simpler way to clear query cache of Stardog. Currently I have to restart Stardog server to clear cache. So is there any utility or API which comes with Stardog which we can use for clearing cache.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? There is not a good reason
to drop the query cache.

Does the query cache make a marked improvement in query performance?

The short answer is yes. The long answer: it depends on the query load. Also there's no single "query cache". There're multiple components which keep various pieces of data which may be re-used later for queries which use similar plans or access same (or co-located) data.

Some control over caching is possible via the "query.plan.reuse" server option [1].

I have some special requirement to check all queries performance with warm and cold cache. So to check query execution time with cold query I have to restart server to delete cache.

Restarting the server is the only reliable way to drop all cached data related to query evaluation. To disable the query plan cache (for all queries), you can use the "query.plan.reuse" server option.

Is it possible to increase the amount of memory used for caching,
maybe even for some specific components? Or is this possible only by
increasing the overall amount of memory provided to the JVM?
