Werbung durch Boinc?

Hallo zusammen,
seit dem Ende von Spinhenge@Home nutze ich Boinc nur noch als normaler Teilnehmer.
Über den Entwicklungsstand von BOINC und den Projekten bin ich nicht aktuell informiert.
Ist es jetzt wirklich so das BOINC oder die Projekte (zur finanzierung?) aktiv Werbung bei den Benutzern macht?
Seit bei mir das Projekt SiDock@Home läuft öffnet sich manchmal, wenn ich Boinc in die Taskleiste schliesse der Explorer mit einer Seite vom Google Pay Store...
Ich bitte um Information.

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce the behavior you have. None of the projects on BOINC use advertisement.

I suggest you to install some antivirus and check your system for any malware.

Hi

I have no particular issue with Sidock (used on linux and macOS, but not windows) but not long ago we had an issue with another project, one of the notifications from the project (news) was "force opening" another page on the browser, but right now I can't remember which project it was, and it had been solved.

You can try your luck on Sidock forum (in English / translator), they are quite responsive.
