Hello,

is it possible to pass a parameter in the version.xml file of an application
so that this application recovers this parameter when it is executed on the client?

You can specify cmdline parameters in the app's input template:
https://github.com/BOINC/boinc/wiki/JobTemplates#input-templates

... and you can specify (possibly additional) parameters when
you create jobs, e.g. with create_work
