BOINC 8.2.5 available for testing

Version 8.2.5 of the BOINC client is available for testing.
It has some small but important changes; see

As usual, please report test results (including positive results) here:

We already made the MacOS 8.2.5 version Recommended,
because it has some critical fixes.
But feel free to test on Mac also.
BTW: Docker/Podman isn't quite working on Mac yet.
BOINC detects Podman OK but jobs fail.
We hope to have this fixed soon; it's probably an issue
with the apps rather than the client.

I am getting an error trying to submit a BOINC Alpha 8.2.5 test result for Windows 11:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near ' 'Report: No issues found using Windows 11 and Alpine Linux (WSL). Projects test' at line 1

Unable to handle request

I had this error when submitting a result today (my results were accepted several days ago):
"General tests: updating existing report You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near ' comment='' where userid=101 and version='8.2.5' and platform='win11_x64' and te' at line 1

Unable to handle request
db error"
